GH Scorecard: Sonny Corinthos

To say the Don of Port Chuckles is a polarizing figure would be a gross understatement...

  Who Likes Sonny? 

        Carly:  She's always loyal to Sonny, even to the detriment of her non-Sonny romantic partners.  Franco was so jealous of Carly's Sonny-love that he planned a wedding to expose a Carly-Sonny sex tape that included Sonny confessing to killing AJ.

        Duke:  He had the chance to recant his statement giving Sonny and alibi for AJ's murder but he refused.  He's willing to go down with the man he claims "made him feel useful again."

        Morgan:  Sonny's youngest biological son has flip-flopped between love and hate of his father.  Once he found out that Ava killed Connie, he ditched Team Ava in favor of Team Sonny.

         Olivia:  She will always carry a torch for her son Dante's father. 

         Dante:  Even though Sonny shot him several years ago and even though he has to arrest Sonny for AJ's murder, he loves Sonny as a father.

         Sam:  Sam was once involved with Sonny and had a child with him who, sadly, was stillborn.  Sonny was Jason's employer and best friend, so Sam remained close to Sonny through her marriage to Jason.

          Alexis:  Alexis was also involved with Sonny and had a child (Kristina) with him.  She has been his attorney at times, though lately Diane Miller has handled most of Sonny's legal affairs.  

          Shawn:  Sonny's right hand man, until Sonny finds out Franco's still alive. 
      
    Who Hates Sonny:

          Michael:  Up until he saw the Sex Tape That Revealed Everything, he loved his adoptive father.  Now that he knows Sonny broke his promise and killed AJ, he renounced the father-son relationship and only refrained from killing Sonny because Dante told him that doing so would make him just like the man he now despises. 

           Julian:  Sonny is a threat to the Jeromes' taking over of Port Charles and he's the latest in the line of Sonny's mob rivals.   Sonny is also gunning for Julian's sister Ava.

          Ava:  After Sonny learned that Ava killed Connie Falconeri, he has been threatening to capture Ava until she gives birth, then kill her.   He had Ava alone in the Brownstone after she had given birth, but Michael showed up and Ava was able to escape.

          The Q's:  Most of the Quartermaines hate Sonny because he helped turn Jason Quartermaine into Jason Morgan.

           Franco:  Sonny has a hold on Carly that Franco doesn't take kindly to.   Sonny also tried to kill Franco via Shawn, but, as usual with Shawn, the hit fell through. 

            Scott Baldwin:  He can't wait to finally put Sonny behind bars.   He's also Franco's father and although they aren't exactly close, Franco's growing on Scott.  Franco handed Scott the evidence to convict Sonny of murder he wouldn't be too pleased to know that Sonny tried to off Franco. 

           Heather Webber:  She found out that Shawn wasn't working for Franco.  He was working for Sonny, who wanted to have Franco killed and pin the murder on Heather.
